Casey Anthony – Defense Clowns Imploding

03/25/2011

Good grief!  I believe we have a new entry for Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!  Or, maybe, it is more a primer on How Not To Piss-Off A Highly Respected Judge!

Most of you, by now, are aware of Jose Baez’s embarrassing behavior in court yesterday.  He acted like a foot stomping, fistie making, spoiled two-year-old.  He directly challenged Judge Perry’s instructions and also began shouting.  So much so, Judge Perry cautioned him to lower his voice and Ann Finnell had to drag him from the podium for a five-minute time-out.  At another point in the afternoon, the good Judge had to send everyone to their corners for another cool-down!

I swear, with all the trials I’ve watched, I have never seen such outrageous discourtesy and brazen misbehaviour from an alledged attorney!

But, that’s not all that has been going on.  While Mr. Baez struts around the courtroom being a bully, Mr. Mason has gone round-the-bend writing ill-conceived motions!

Remember several days ago it was ruled that Drs. Hall and Bock – not Frye eligible – could duke it out in court at trial, a decision issued by the highly intelligent Judge Perry?  Well,  the defense is sulking and having a tantrum, crying for a do-over!

Motion To Vacate And In The Alternative Motion For Clarification

In the motion – misspellings notwithstanding – Mason rambles on insulting Dr. Hall and challenging his expertise.

Additionally, he demands a Frye hearing and confronts Judge Perry asking him to explain, ‘the basis of admissibility of Dr. Hall’s expert opinion testimony.’

The only conclusions I can reach are that Mr. Mason did not pass reading comprehension as a student and in law school missed the session on proper court etiquette and respecting your Judge!

Motion For A Rehearing On Orders Denying Motions To Suppress

In this latest rant, Mr Mason out-and-out accuses Judge Perry of bias!

He throws around statements like ‘factual errors’ and pretty much disses the Judge for misstating and not remembering testimony!  Highly insulting to the Judge.  The very same Judge who has given so much leeway to the defense and cut them so much slack!

I have to wonder if this might be the reason why Mr. Mason skipped court yesterday?  Not out of shame mind you, out of fear?

As we get closer and closer to showtime, the defense team’s behavior gets more and more deplorable!

When the Judge issues orders or gives instructions, the defense team can’t just go, ‘no, we don’t wanna’!

Great re-cap of yesterday’s circus events by Mr. Bozo, I mean Baez; I can’t help but wonder if he had temper tantrums as a toddler that turned into being a bully in his later years- a trait that he never out grew. Can this be a result of having insecurity issues? I fully expect there is more to follow.

Despicable, deplorable, inept, sleazy, slimy, unethical, demented, unprofessional, etc., etc. etc. The list can go on and on for unfavorable adjectives to describe Baez and Mason. Beaz makes me think of a snake oil salesman who knows nothing about what he is trying to sell. He should be embarrassed by his performance and the lack of intelligence he displayed in court. If I were in Casey’s shoes and he was my attorney I would have fired him last night after court. I don’t even think it would cause a delay since there are still 3 attorneys remaining. Baez doesn’t deserve to be first chair. He knew that this would end up being a high profile case when he got the call from Casey since history has shown that these kinds of cases usually are. He was and is still hoping to make a name for himself and become famous. Too bad for him his claim to fame will be how not to act in a high profile trial. They will show footage of him in law classes across the country as an example of what not to do.

Well Susan, that pretty much says it all! LOL

Hey Donchais! Excellent Post!!! I’m with you on their behavior, as it’s over the top. I do think it will get worse, and I think it will do nothing, in the end but make matters worse for Casey. I don’t think a jury will warm up to any of them. I was very disappointed in Ms. Sims on day one, as she acts a lot like her pals. I don’t think one person on that team knows how to behave and be respectful, but then that is the choice of Casey. They also seem to like to play victim, just like their client. I guess misery loves company.

When Mr. Baez was attending law school, I think he was absent on the day they taught——everything.

Hi ya niecey456 (niecey is my nickname also!)

I guess the defense team and their client are the reason some folks are afraid of clowns! Yup, Sims is just like the rest of the punks, ‘cept she wears heels! Wait, in private, maybe they all do!

    No Sharia Here,

We have to remember, it is Mr. Baez who CLAIMS he attended law school!

That’s pretty cool! (about the nickname)

I think they might all wear high heels, when we aren’t looking. You never know…….. 😆

They are some scary, scary clowns.

    LOL, niecey!

They make me sick and a little baby was murdered.

I am here to make sure she gets justice…as I know you are!

It is about her, not all the clowns that have hijacked justice and the legal system!!!!

Great picture. Let’s use it again when the sentence comes down. Bet it is the spiting image of defeat. Go Caylee! This time “go” doesn’t mean hide in the next room and go to sleep little baby.

Yeah, take Blowzo’s color coded files and binders away so she can’t play lawyer and give her a “Mama” doll to keep her hands busy. Can you just imagine how she’d come unglued!

My wish is that the State places the Mama Doll up in a car seat, next to a roll of Henkel Duct tape, & a jug of Fisher Scientific grade chloroform, with a picture of the adipocere-stained outline of Caylee’s body, a picture of Caylee’s skull with the duct tape on it, & a picture of Caylee sitting in her great g/p’s lap looking up at him on the last full day of her life. JMHO
